The RecRoad S5 eco-friend­ly park­ing grid is a solu­tion designed for hard­en­ing and sta­bi­liz­ing sur­faces in areas sub­ject to heavy use. With a 5 cm high struc­ture and a weight of approx­i­mate­ly 2.5 kg per unit, the S5 mod­el offers unpar­al­leled rigid­i­ty, ample root space, and excel­lent wedg­ing prop­er­ties for thick­er aggre­gate lay­ers. It is a durable, eco-friend­ly alter­na­tive to tra­di­tion­al paving stones and con­crete slabs.

The RecRoad S5 grid was designed for projects that require excep­tion­al­ly durable sub­strates while main­tain­ing a high bio­log­i­cal­ly active sur­face area (up to 87%). The 5 cm high wall allows for a thick­er infill lay­er, whether you choose dense grass or dec­o­ra­tive aggre­gate.

The addi­tion­al mass of the mate­r­i­al allows the grid sec­tions to firm­ly attach to the sub­struc­ture, demon­strat­ing excep­tion­al resis­tance to shear forces gen­er­at­ed when maneu­ver­ing heav­ier vehi­cles (e.g. SUVs, deliv­ery vans or trucks).

Natural retention

Mod­ern land use requires intel­li­gent drainage solu­tions. The RecRoad S5 eco-grid pre­vents the for­ma­tion of pud­dles, sur­face runoff, and mud pools. Rain­wa­ter soaks direct­ly into the ground, replen­ish­ing under­ground aquifers.

Thanks to the 5 cm depth:

• for grass sur­faces – the root sys­tem has room to devel­op below the lev­el of the trel­lis edge. This pro­tects the plants from being crushed by vehi­cle wheels and increas­es the lawn’s drought resis­tance;

• for grav­el sur­faces – the mesh­es effec­tive­ly hold stones in place, pre­vent­ing them from being scat­tered out­side the park­ing area or dri­ve­way.
